MOQ is not one universal number for soft-dried mango. The relevant minimum can depend on the selected product, packaging route and commercial structure. Buyers get a more useful answer when they ask which assumptions sit behind the MOQ instead of comparing a number without context.
1. Is the MOQ for bulk product or a finished retail pack?
Bulk product and a private-label retail pack can involve different production and packaging routes. Confirm which route the supplier is pricing before using the MOQ in a comparison.
2. Is the MOQ per SKU, pack size or total order?
A total programme quantity may not apply to each flavour, cut or pack size. Ask for the unit to be stated clearly.

3. What product format is assumed?
Fruit cut, intended texture, ingredient preferences and intended use all belong in the product brief. Confirm the quoted MOQ against the selected format.
4. What packaging assumptions are included?
Bulk cartons, plain packs, finished retail packs, labels and artwork can create different order conditions. Include your pack concept early.
5. Is this an evaluation run, first order or repeat programme?
A sample, a market test and recurring supply are different commercial situations. Give the supplier a realistic view of your current stage.
6. Which approval work is still required?
If the project requires specification, packaging or other evidence review, ask which details must be confirmed before the final MOQ and quotation can be issued.
7. Which variables could change the answer?
Ask the supplier to identify the variables that may affect MOQ after the first discussion: product, pack, quantity, destination, artwork, timing and delivery route. Transparency matters more than a number that later changes.

FAQ
Is this checklist or guide a substitute for destination-market approval?
No. Use it to organise a buyer conversation and collect relevant information. Confirm product-, batch- and route-specific requirements with the importer, broker or competent adviser responsible for the actual destination.
Can I use the same brief with more than one supplier?
Yes. Sending the same controlled brief helps buyers compare responses fairly. Keep the supplier answers, assumptions and follow-up questions in one record.
